Good for the front of a border, in containers, alpine bed, rock garden or by a patio and is tricky because it doesn’t like the winter wet, so it must be in a well drained soil with gravel around it’s stem.

When newly planted always keep it watered until the roots have grown down and it is able to find its own moisture.
