It makes excellent ground cover and for that reason do not put it close to smaller plants.
It is just about evergreen through the winter.

Good for the front of a border, by a path, under trees, trailing over a wall, on a bank or by a patio.
It is easy in most soils, including heavy or clay soils.
It is also known as Campanula portenschlagiana.

Sun or semi shade or shade.

Any reasonable soil, also tolerates acidic soil and chalky soil. Tolerates clay soil.

When newly planted always keep it watered until the roots have grown down and it is able to find its own moisture.
