Yes, very handy for filling a largish space in a flower border.

Well drained soil, also tolerates chalky soil.

How much moisture:

Normal moisture, or fairly dry.

Hardy. It will be short lived if it hasn’t been cut back hard every year,  but it can reseed itself.

Care and maintenance:

When newly planted always keep it watered until the roots have grown down and it is able to find its own moisture.
Remove dead flowers.
Cut back hard after flowering to generate new shoots, which will give the plant a longer life.
