Ajuga reptans Burgundy Glow description
This brightens an area with it’s stunning foliage. Blue upright flowers in the spring and early summer.
It makes wonderful ground cover and for that reason do not put it close to smaller plants.
It is just about evergreen through the winter.

This is a butterfly friendly plant.
How easy is it to grow:
Good for the front of a border, by a path, under trees, trailing over a wall, by a patio, or on a bank provided it isn’t too dry. It is easy in most soils, including heavy or clay soils.

Sun or semi shade or shade.

Any reasonable soil, also tolerates acidic soil and chalky soil. Tolerates clay soil.

When newly planted always keep it watered until the roots have grown down and it is able to find its own moisture.
